Mumbai, Mar 07: Keeping up the pace for a net-zero emissions future, PHDCCI signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with EESL (Energy Efficiency Services Limited) on 6th March 2025 at PHD House, New Delhi.
EESL, promoted by Ministry of Power, Government of India, is a joint venture of four reputed Central Public Sector Undertakings (CPSUs), NTPC Limited, Power Finance Corporation Limited, REC Limited and POWERGRID Corporation of India Limited. EESL focuses on providing energy-efficient services and products
The MoU was signed between Dr. Ranjeet Mehta, CEO & Secretary General of PHDCCI and Shri Venkatesh Dwivedi , Group Executive Director, while Mr Mithilesh Kumar, Sr. Secretary and Head Centre for Sustainability, PHDCCI, Sh Shashi Kant , Cluster Head – Northern Region, Sh Kavish Agarwal , State Head – Delhi ,Ms Mayuri Chaukhande , Deputy Manager Mr, Mohit Kumar, Asst. Secretary,PHDCCI was also present during the official MoU signing ceremony
The MoU is designed to work jointly on the modalities for promoting EESL Mart in collaboration with PHDCCI which could create significant advantages for both parties in terms of sustainability, energy efficiency, and government relations. The partnership appears to be a strong step toward promoting environmental responsibility and aligning with India's goals for a net-zero emissions future.
